What Is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine looks at the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — instead of focusing only on a diagnosis or symptom. At Renewed Wellness, we believe God designed the body with the ability to heal and function well when it’s supported with the right care, nutrients, lifestyle changes, and guidance.

Our approach blends conventional medical knowledge with root-cause wellness support so we can better understand what is happening in your body and help you take practical steps toward true renewal.

How We Treat

Your first step into care at Renewed Wellness.

Your first appointment is a 60–90 minute wellness consult, focused on understanding your health history, current symptoms, and wellness goals.

During this visit, recommended lab work is typically drawn to help identify root causes and guide your care plan. Labs may be completed in-office at a discounted cash rate or submitted through insurance when applicable. Book Your Consultation Here.

We use lab work to better understand patterns related to hormones, thyroid, gut health, nutrition, inflammation, toxins, and other areas that may be affecting how you feel.

After your initial wellness consult, you will return approximately 1–2 weeks later for your follow-up visit. The cost of this visit is included in the initial consult. Learn more about our pricing here.

During this appointment, we review your lab results, discuss key findings, and outline the initial phase of your personalized care plan.

Hormones can affect so much more than your cycle. When they are out of balance, you may notice changes in your energy, mood, sleep, weight, libido, skin, digestion, bone health, or overall sense of well-being.

At Renewed Wellness, hormone therapy for women is not about handing you a quick fix and sending you on your way. We take time to listen, review your symptoms, look at your labs, and understand what your body may need in this season of life. For some women, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, or BHRT, may be part of a personalized care plan to help restore balance and support long-term wellness.

BHRT uses hormones designed to closely match the hormones your body naturally makes. Depending on your needs, treatment may include options such as pellets, creams, or troches. If pellets are recommended, they are placed just under the skin during a quick in-office visit and slowly release hormones over time.

Common Signs of Hormone Imbalance in Women

Hormone changes can look different for every woman, but common symptoms may include hot flashes, night sweats, irregular or uncomfortable periods, vaginal dryness, breast tenderness, low energy, mood changes, sleep issues, digestive changes, or changes in bone health.

Our Approach

We believe your body was created with purpose and deserves care that looks deeper than symptoms. Our goal is to help you better understand what is happening in your body, support it with the right tools, and walk with you toward feeling more balanced, supported, and renewed.

Hormone changes can affect how you feel, move, think, sleep, and show up in everyday life. For men, low or imbalanced hormones may contribute to changes in energy, sleep, weight, mood, focus, muscle mass, libido, sexual performance, blood sugar stability, and overall confidence.

At Renewed Wellness, hormone therapy for men is not treated like a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all solution. We take time to listen, review your symptoms, evaluate your labs, and understand your lifestyle so we can help identify what may be affecting your hormone health.

Depending on your needs, your care plan may include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, testosterone support, peptides, lifestyle changes, nutrition guidance, strength training, stress support, sleep improvements, or other recommendations. When BHRT pellets are recommended, they are placed just under the skin during a quick in-office visit and release hormones gradually over time.

Common Signs of Hormone Imbalance in Men

Hormone imbalance can look different for every man, but common signs may include low energy, poor sleep, weight gain, brain fog, low mood, anxiousness, difficulty maintaining muscle, low libido, decreased sexual performance, acne, unstable blood sugar, or low motivation.

Our Approach

We believe God designed the body with purpose, and when something feels off, it is worth looking deeper. Our goal is to help men better understand what is happening in their bodies, support healthy hormone balance, and take practical steps toward renewed energy, strength, confidence, and long-term wellness.

When your body is depleted, stressed, or struggling to absorb the nutrients it needs, it can affect how you feel day to day. Low energy, brain fog, poor immune support, dehydration, inflammation, and slow recovery can all be signs that your body may need deeper nutritional support.

At Renewed Wellness, IV nutrition therapy is not treated like a quick wellness trend. Because IV therapy works directly within the body, we begin with a consultation to better understand your health history, symptoms, labs, medications, and wellness goals. This helps us make sure your treatment is safe, appropriate, and personalized to what your body may actually need.

IV nutrition therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream, allowing your body to receive support without relying fully on digestion and absorption. Depending on your needs, IV therapy may be used to support hydration, energy, immune function, nutrient levels, recovery, detox support, and overall wellness.

Common Reasons Patients Ask About IV Nutrition

IV nutrition therapy may be helpful for patients who are feeling run down, dehydrated, fatigued, foggy, stressed, or in need of additional nutrient support. It may also be considered for immune support, recovery after illness, athletic recovery, wellness maintenance, or when nutrient absorption may be a concern.

Our Approach

We believe God designed the body with the ability to restore and function well when it is supported with the right care. Our goal is to look deeper, understand what your body may be missing, and use IV nutrition therapy as one part of a thoughtful, whole-person wellness plan, not as a stand-alone quick fix.

You must be an active patient of Renewed Wellness to receive IV nutrition Therapy.

Sometimes the body needs deeper support than daily supplements or basic lifestyle changes can provide. Ozone/UBI therapy is designed to support the body at a cellular level by combining ozone with ultraviolet blood irradiation, also known as UBI, to help promote immune support, oxygen utilization, and overall wellness.

At Renewed Wellness, Ozone/UBI therapy is not offered as a quick fix or one-size-fits-all treatment. A consultation and up-to-date lab work are required before beginning care so we can understand your health history, current concerns, and whether this therapy is a safe and appropriate option for you. Ozone/UBI may be used as part of a broader wellness plan for patients seeking support with immune health, inflammation, fatigue, longevity, and overall body function.

Ozone is an energized form of oxygen made of three oxygen atoms, and UBI stands for ultraviolet blood irradiation. Together, these therapies are used to support the biological activity of the blood cells and may help the body create a stronger internal environment for healing and restoration.

Common Reasons Patients Ask About Ozone/UBI

Patients may ask about Ozone/UBI therapy for immune support, chronic fatigue, inflammation, autoimmune concerns, chronic allergies, circulation support, viral or bacterial concerns, low immunity, or general longevity support. Ozone/UBI is often discussed as a monthly wellness therapy, depending on the patient’s needs and provider recommendations.

Our Approach

Our goal is to look deeper, use lab work and clinical insight to guide recommendations, and include therapies like Ozone/UBI only when they make sense as part of a thoughtful, whole-person wellness plan. Ozone/UBI is not an FDA-approved therapy, and our team will review whether it is appropriate for you before treatment begins.

Testing may include GI maps, food sensitivity testing, toxin testing, mold, metals, environmental concerns, adrenal testing, DUTCH testing, and other labs based on your needs.

Questions We Often Get

Integrative medicine is a whole-person approach to care that looks at your symptoms, health history, labs, lifestyle, hormones, gut health, nutrition, stress, and environment. Instead of only asking how to manage a symptom, we look deeper to better understand why it may be happening and what support your body needs to function well.

They are closely related. Some practices use the term functional medicine, but at Renewed Wellness, we use “integrative medicine” because our care blends conventional medical knowledge with root-cause wellness support. Our goal is not to replace traditional medicine, but to use the right tools at the right time while helping your body move toward better long-term function.

Yes. A consultation is required before medical-side services, including IV nutrition and lab testing, so we can understand your health history, symptoms, medications, and goals. This helps us make sure any testing or treatment recommendations are safe, appropriate, and personalized to you.

Recommended testing depends on your symptoms, goals, and provider recommendations. Testing may include comprehensive lab reviews, hormone testing, thyroid markers, gut health testing such as GI maps, DUTCH testing, adrenal testing, food sensitivity testing, mold testing, metals testing, environmental toxin testing, or other labs that help us better understand what may be affecting your health.

Yes, these are some of the most common areas addressed through integrative medicine at Renewed Wellness. Your provider may look at patterns related to hormones, gut health, thyroid function, adrenal health, nutrition, stress, toxins, and lifestyle to help identify what may be contributing to symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, digestive concerns, or feeling “off.”

Renewed Wellness does not treat Lyme disease directly. However, testing may be discussed when appropriate, and if results suggest Lyme disease or a concern that needs specialty care, you may be referred to a provider who focuses on that area.

Coverage can vary depending on your insurance plan and the type of lab work recommended. Some labs may be completed in-office at a discounted cash rate or submitted through insurance when applicable. Renewed Wellness does not mark up the price of functional tests, but consultation time is billed for reviewing results and creating recommendations.

After your first appointment, recommended lab work is typically completed to help guide your care plan. You will then return for a follow-up visit where your provider reviews your results, explains key findings, and discusses the first phase of your personalized plan. That plan may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements, hormone support, IV nutrition, additional testing, or other recommendations based on your needs.
